If piano keys are sticking:

1. Remove the piano top by unscrewing from the sides.
2. Remove the logo, which will slide out once the top is off.
3. Adjust and move the keys by making sure they are sitting evenly in the key strip and not too close to one another. Test the key and see if the hammer strikes where it should in the middle of the sound bar.

If the key still sticks or is not making any noise, then try loosening the hammer on the key in question:

1. Gently slide the key out of position.
2. Grasp the key at the pivot point where the hammer (the black piece) is attached to the key.  The key itself should be grasped between your forefinger and thumb at the connection point of the key and hammer.
3. While squeezing lightly onto this pivot point, use your other hand to grab the hammer and move it back and forth several times.  This will help to loosen the joint, so that the hammer will move more freely.
4. Replace the key so that it is evenly lined up on the strip with the other keys. Now the hammer should strike the middle of the sound bar when the key is pressed.
5. Replace the top and logo.

If the issue is that a particular key is flat:
Remove the piano top (as explained above) and gently file or grind the end of the prong.
If the key plays too sharply:
Try adding copper wire by wrapping the wire around the prong.

These techniques should remedy the problem.  If there is still an issue with your key, please call us right away. Thank you.
